Isn't that rainbow halo
cool? As it was explained to me, the rainbow there was formed around my head up
on Tripod Hill (a shadow around me head). But, it didn't show up until the
sunlight hit the heavy fog below. Although tough to see there are actually about
3 rainbows stacked up here. It was one of the few highlights on my trip up
Tripod Hill. Most of the rest of the time I was struggling through 3 feet of
snow. Tripod is a ski hill in the winter.
