Since it was so cool in Cordova the lake in front of the
glacier was frozen. So, I was able to hike out onto the glacier which was
awesome. Here is the view from near where I turned around... the crevices were
starting to look menacing. After I got off the glacier I saw ice skaters. They
had seen my rental car and a few days later the gossip going around was that
someone from Anchorage had learned about their winter skating secret. Nope, I
can't skate.
