Later that same night I tried to find a place Gary had told me about that was really dark and good for taking pictures of the Aurora out by where Johnny lives. I didn't quite find it but I ended up here. This was a kind of funny sequence. Before finding this old rock quarry I came across a moose eating shrubs in the dark. I was so excited that when I turned off my truck I left it in neutral instead of in gear. So, when I went to take my foot off the brake truck moved and scared off the moose. Oh well, it was a beautiful night in any case.
