Here's Bergey and I at the bottom of a rock pile. Just before this picture we had entered the valley and seen a herd of about 20 caribou racing across the valley bottom. That was pretty neat... until they realized we were there. Then they headed for us. They ended up passing us just over the top of this rock pile, where we had been just minutes before. So, that was pretty exciting. Luckily Bergey didn't see anything and kept on sniffing the ground and chewing on plants and stuff.
