It was so neat. This was definitely right up there for the closest I've been to
a bear and yet they kept coming and I continued to back up a little at a time.
Eventually the road grater guy I know came from the other direction and inched
past the family. He was pretty funny but he gave us the okay to drive on past.
I think he thought it hillarious that I'd been backing up away from the bears but
you know, that momma could totally take care of business if she wanted. So, as I
drove Hagen took picture after picture of the family and they really weren't
bothered with us as we drove by.
