Our first good look out point to see where we were heading. This is Gary and the glacier is off to the left. Up here in this meadow there were tons of low bush blueberries that were nice and sweet. Not surprisingly there was bear poop all over the place. We saw where it had been sleeping, too so that was about the time we decided to drop down into the trees and get onto the river bed below.
