This is a better look at the top of the dome and the surrounding area. There are fires North of town, some of the clouds you see, so it wasn't quite as sunny as it could be but still pleasant. Chalk this up as typical Tanana Valley uplands with short stubby pine in the colder places leading up to brush and lichen above tree line.
